SALAM SWAID

Salam Swaid is a Syrian statement-jewelry designer living in the UAE, where she juggles between her 9-to-5 desk job in the health field and her passion for everything artistic. Since the early 2010s, she has focused on creating unique jewelry, leading her to win two design competitions: Runner-up in the 2012 Dubai International Jewellery Week Design Awards and Second place in the 2013 EBDA’A Emirati Jewelry Designer Award in its first edition.

Salam enjoys experimenting with new ideas and materials, which has been the catalyst for the main concept behind her work: "Art Translation", among other diverse creative projects...​
